My research is in statistical physics and theoretical condensed matter physics. I study non-equilibrium phenomena in quantum many-body systems, classical and quantum fluids, and active matter, using theory and numerical simulations.

Research

Quantum many-body dynamics

Non-equilibrium dynamics, thermalization and prethermal phases in driven quantum systems, including Rydberg atom chains.

Classical and quantum fluids

Turbulence, irreversibility and non-equilibrium statistical properties of classical fluids, Bose–Einstein condensates and superfluids. My work includes the Navier–Stokes and Gross–Pitaevskii equations, rotating flows and particle dynamics.

Active matter

Collective dynamics of self-propelled particles in dry systems and fluid environments.

Physics and computing

Numerical simulations and high-performance computing to study complex physical systems.
